DOX BOX is a non-competitive creative documentary film festival. DOX BOX offers only twoaward, the Audience Award, based on audience's votes for films in the Official Selection and the DOX BOX - Soura Award for best Syrian Film in Voices in Syria award.


The Audience Award consists of a cash prize of 150,000 Syrian Pounds (approx. USD 3000) and the trophy, presented to the director(s).

DOX BOX 10 Audience Award was granted to Lebanese filmmaker Zeina Daccache for her film "12 Angry Lebanese" 

DOX BOX 09 Audience Award was granted to American-Syrian filmmaker Jacki Reem Salloum for her film "Sling Shot Hip Hop"

DOX BOX 08 Audience Award was granted to filmmaker Aleksander Manic from Serbia for his film "The Shutka Book of Records"
