Fima Emami and Reza Daryanoosh's film "The Absence of Mr. or Mrs. B" is selected for HotDocs. The film had its international premier at DOX BOX 10 and is represented in Arabic-speaking countries by Proaction Film WOMAN, the new initiative of Proaction Film for distributing creative documentaries on women in the Arab World.

The selections of HotDocs also include Six Weeks, Kings of Pastry, Freetime Matchos, among other films from the selection of DOX BOX 10.

HotDocs' new edition is presenting a Focus section dedicated to Egyptian-Canadian documentary filmmaker Tahani Rached, where four of her films will run, including her latest (Jeeran), premiered in Middle East Film Festival, late 2009.
